Uploaded photographs on the previous days this will be updated tomorrow.
After a dry evening in Geysir we wake to rain yet again, thankfully most of the group do not have to take down the tents.
We are heading back into the interior for a day trip to Kerlingarfjoll the weather forecast is drier there at least for the start of the day.
Starting on track we are met with a road works sign and a 50km sign very funny this was the road:
Kerlingarfjöll is a 1,477 m tall mountain range in Iceland situated in the Highlands of Iceland near the Kjölur highland road. They are part of a large tuya volcano system of 100 km².
Then a call at gullfoss on the way back.
